Retrofitting one touch electric window

Postby tt225 » Wed Apr 15, 2026 12:54 pm

Just wondering if anyone has converted the passenger side electric window to one touch operation the same as the drivers side?

My van is the 2024 (2019 model) Limited

Thanks

The only difference (I think!) is the addition of a relay in the door which "holds" the power on when energised. My Focus has it on all four windows, so maybe a wiring diagram from a car may help
1994 Mk4 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (R.I.P.)
1997 Mk5 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (Gone, but not forgotten!)
2004 Mk6 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.0 TDDi - Vantunered (Also gone)
2008 Mk7 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.2 TDCi - Also Vantunered

Thanks, I wonder if there's a slot for the relay and would it be as simple as plugging another relay into it, or fitting the current window relay into the empty slot? Possibly wishful thinking but you never know!
