It would if there were two circuits down in the barrel

wondering if just pulling things apart and putting them back together cleaned up a pin or a fuse socket

just a thought.... when you cleaned starter cables i assume you put the 2 heavy red cables (starter to alternator and fuse box to starter) back on the solenoid and earth strap back on starter securing bolt
sometimes people seem to leave one of the red cables off

Yes all cables went back on, still trying to fix the bloody thing.
