Driver side indicator wing mirror flooded

Hello,

I have a Mk 8, and the driver side indicator wing mirror is flooded with water.

Looking at it, I'm unsure of how to remove and empty and to replace or create new seal.

Could I get some advise on this matter please.

Mine did the same thing because of hairline crack, I just drilled a small hole through the clear plastic near the bottom to let the water out. Its been over a year and still works fine
