2015 transit 350 long wheel base

Hi I'm new to all this forum stuff but thought it might help me get an answer to a problem with my 2015 transit. The sliding side door is hitting the passenger door when you close it and the dealer wants to "Move the passenger door and reweld it because there is no adjustment built into the hinges".
This is a big no no with me and was wondering if anyone else was encountering this problem.

Not sure if this will help but I'm sure I've read similar threads on the transit customs, front door hinges bending easily and causing alignment problems
