MK8 SERVICE COST

Was wondering if anyone had any information on the cost of the 15000 and 30000 mile service price.
My dealer said he can secure me a fixed price service plan for the next 4 years at £73 inc vat and parts for the 15000 service and £199 inc vat and parts for the 30000 service so is this a deal or no deal.

to be honest i don't deal with ford even thow me uncle was a fitter their for many many many years but as we all find dealerships are just a franchise and after easy cash so don't expect full quality from them

of topic but me as a little company on me own independent, i show every customer what i have change and from doing this i have a very good customer base as they get what they pay for

i also do work for a plant hire firm and bring all the stuff back so they can see hence not ripping them off

i could never work out the difference between a small & "major" service apart from the price ! the fuel filter wasn't changed unless the indicator said so & that was an additional charge

My 155ps Transit has service intervals of 15,000 and 30,000 so every 15,000 miles.

So now im confused

My dealer says interim service 15,000 miles, full service 30,000.

So a service every 15,000 miles not just for the first 15,000 this is also in the service book.

Strange my Peugeot Boxers every 30k (before 40watt aka altransit puts some stupid comment i mentioned the Boxer as it has the same 2.2 engine as the mk8 ! )

when i do a service its everything from bulb's, fluids, brakes (taking wheels off), tyres,suspension etc , general condition of the vehicle in question

that's a service to me and i always show them all things i have changed (thats just me) and advise on any other work that will need attention
