Live data shows throttle position goes only to 78%?! Martynx

Hi, everyone,
Connected my laptop to see what the sensors are saying and noticed that the throttle position sensor is only reading 78% when the pedal is pressed all the way, is this normal? Has anyone that maybe read some live data encountered this? Martynx have you encountered this symptom on a mk8?

if nobody knows there might be a member local to you to try it on his/her van to see if the result is the same

Malta, europe. Never thought about trying another van to compare, our cooperative has 4 new mk8's, i'll see if they let me check one of them.

I'm fairly sure my mk7 doesn't go to 100% either

I don't know of any but then you'd expect the pcm to know what to do since it has various other information available to allow it to trim the throttle anyway, i would suspect that 0% and 100% need to be a resistance of some sort because it stops the pcm seeing an open circuit. I'm sure my throttle never goes fully across the green bars when i test it.

Sorry I was thinking of op-com which has a re calibration option.

Or maybe it uses all the 155hp instead of the vans feeling gutless under 1500rpm.
