I have mk7 transit and its been and still is a great van approaching 9 years old no rust issues and just under140k on the clock

Have been looking at the mk8 ...but I keep hearing of build quality issues and spares on back order

Are they really that bad ?

It sounds like you look after your van. Listen to your mate rather than people who come to a forum to have a moan.

It's my number one work tool ,only every driven me ,just had to spend 500 on locks because of the security issues

Was offered a cracking deal on a new one ,top of the range h3 155bhp trend with tow bar 26k five year warranty and four years service Inc

What's this about the doors though hinges causing problems ?
