Anyone else having problems with the ad blue door not staying closed because it seems such a poor design

Till now its ok but yes it is a poor design, they should have put a spring like the fuel door, at least it stays closed when the fuel door is closed.

No it's got a silly catch that doesn't work as the door flexes about to much on the hinge

Yes I have the door problem, dealer adjusted it and it is holding at the moment but don't think it will last for long, hopefully ford may come up with a better solution and change them as I'm sure more people will get this problem

Hopefully they will make it spring loaded like the fuel flap

Well my passenger today didn't see the Ad door open today and shut the door, the plastic trim on the door hit the open Ad door and came unclipped off of the door, Luckily the trim clipped back on as the clips didn't break but they wont take a lot of unclipping. S##te design

I had the exact same problem. It was really windy outside, so that might be the culprit but I also unclipped the door trim. It is a stupid design. I will have to find a better way to keep that door closed. Maybe some kind of catch, that goes to the fuel door will help. At least that one mis held shut with a spring.

Please report all your ad blue cover problems to your local ford dealer and ford customer services. Mine is doing the exact same thing and they keep telling me there are not enough complaints to do anything about it!!!
Mine keeps popping open with the rush of wind when you close the side door and then when you open the passengers door and close it it smashes the trim off!!
