Minibus rear row single?

Postby siraff » Mon May 21, 2018 10:00 am

Just wondering if there is a single rear seat option which could replace one of the doubles?
I'm looking into removing seats but two isn't enough and four is too many.
If not how hard is it to swap from dual to single passenger seat since it's heated and got an airbag in it?

Oh and it's a 2017 12 seat bus if that helps at all?

On my mk8 17 seat bus I have turned into a camper the rear row of seats the centre pair came out by the quick release pull handles can you not just unbolt one of the singles that are left

I think these must be different then. As far as I can see there are two sets of two on QR.
I wonder if an outer from a 17st would fit back in?

I sold all mine to a guy on e bay who deals in them he says sometimes he has trouble selling the single seats as most of his go for crew vans try eBay if your outer seat belts mount into the rear pillar and not to the top of the seat they may fit

Ahh that's a sticking point then. Mine are all seat mounted.
Looks like a double and the one by the side door then unless a single passenger seat will work?
Trouble is it's got an airbag and the heater motor for the rear under it along with the fire extinguisher.
