DAB is unreliable - always dropping signal or no signal at all. The hype is wrong its a poor system.......

I used to think the same, I fitted a DAB radio in my old Focus a few years back, it was hopeless, and I removed it and sold it on. But, the factory fitted DAB in my Mk3 Focus works well, so much so, I was thinking about getting a DAB radio to go in the Mk7

Do you just mean the standard system you get from ford is rubbish? I put an aftermarket radio in my mk7 with the screen mounted aerial and it was spot on in 99% of the areas I worked in.

No, he means that DAB is sh*t in his area. And to be fair it is very dependent on where you want to listen, but if you lose DAB signal the (Ford) radio switches to FM. It’s getting better by the day.
