Transit cruise control

Transit mk8 2014 van, I have fitted the leather steering wheel with cruise control functions and programmed the computer to initiate the function but it tells me I need the cruise control module which my local Ford dealer cannot locate in their parts book and the auto electrician says he has never see or heard of one, any help would be much appreciated,regards

If it's the same setup as a Mk7, then there's no separate module for cruise control, but you do need to have a high spec Body Control Module, which can be programmed to initiate cruise.
Unless your van already has lots of "toys" fitted as standard, you may well not have the correct BCM

Also it might not be as simple, you might need to swap more modules ie steering module, bcm maybe more. The modules all have their own vin which I don't know if they can be reprogrammed or used and configured.

Need more info.
