Spotted this Mk8 with alloy wheels.
Not sure why a rental company would pay the extra for alloys, maybe Ford chucked them in because they don't sell many.

It’s only a £400 extra to have alloys and if people kerb them the rental company can charge

Friend of mine worked for Enterprise for a few years and he said they just ring Ford and say we need 300 vans as soon as.
Being a big customer for Ford they’ll send down mainly low trim models but to keep the customer happy if it means sending out a few Trend models so be it.
Also most of the manufacturers will offer big rental companies deals on “cancelled order” vans to keep stock moving.
