Completely turn off front lights

Postby ADUK » Thu Apr 11, 2019 9:40 am

hi all

ive flattened my battery a number of times just by leaving the rear loading doors open for a short while.
is there any way to completely turn off the lights on the front when parked up, van unlocked and doors open?
none of the settings on the lights dial completely turn them off.

ive searched and it looks like you cant actually turn them off.

Swap all of them for led lights mate. Bulbs are a short and kill the batteries although if the battery has died I'd get that checked too, there should be a power saver which cuts the power anyway.

Leds all around our fit switches.

I left 4 led strips on in my van for minimum 50 hrs once, jumped in and broom broom :P

Yes but powered upto the front battery, I know the rear 1 still started it but I'm sure I'd have lost radio etc if they flattened it :(

The front won't be on without the ignition I don't think so if the back is open etc it shouldn't be a problem, you can change the sidelights and drl to led though I think. Might need to see what's on and what's not but bulbs do burn the power something chronic. :(
