oil level on forscan

ive just plugged in forscan and was checking various things when I noticed the oil level percentage at 127.50%!!! I serviced it a few months ago and got genuine parts from ford including the oil, he said it needed 10 litres. I was doing the general checks earlier so obviously checked the oil beforehand but the shitty dipstick is not the best so it was very unclear to actually see where the oil level was at. Will this be 100% correct and have I got to drop some oil immediately as im now panicking like f**k!!!!?? or for some reason does forscan over read the level??? TA

just been and drained about a couple litres out and retried and it still says 127.50% even though the dipstick is reading correctly. anyone else able to confirm the same using forscan? this has got to be either a bug in the software or a sensor fault or ive got the complete wrong end of the stick at least my mind is now at ease and I can sleep

If the vans level and it's the correct dipstick from the factory then if that's showing correct then happy days. I'd trust a analogue measurement device over an electronic device any day.

The oil level can rise if the vans been attempting to regenerate and failing as diesel ends up in the oil thus raising the level and diluting the oil.

If the dipstick showed the correct level why did you empty out a couple of litres?
