The one wheel is sticking out further than the other looks like the half shaft has moved.

The AA have collected the van, will have a look at it in the morning on the one side the wheel is where it should be but on the other side it sticking out a good 3 inches. it look like the half shaft has moved out of the diff. Had the same problem a few years ago with a mark 6 but unsure whether it used the same setup or it could be the wheel bearing on that side.Wish Haynes would do a manual for it.

Took the wheel off well jacked it up really put it on axle stands and pulled on the wheel and it came off with the halfshaft attached with the 5 bolts that hold the hub together.

One bolt had sheared off and the remains of it was in the disc.

In the past it had new discs and I think they have been over tightened the 5 bolts and damage the threads on both sides. Got new discs and pads for both sides but are still waiting for new bolts.

Does anyone know the torque setting for the bolts?

Looking at the above website the bolts are 4C081 the local ford dealer cant get them until Tuesday does anyone know who may have them local to the west Midland. Have a big job on Tuesday so may have to ring round a few ford dealers tomorrow.

All sorted now had to go to 2 ford dealers who each had 5 bolts. Both sides had damaged bolts must have been tightened by a air gun so over tightening them. The correct torque is 68 NM then 90 degrees.
