Warning Lights & Oil Change, Engine Man. & Limp Mode

Postby pandd » Tue Oct 08, 2019 10:31 am

We have two 2.2 350 L4 Transit flatbeds (15&65 reg) that are regularly serviced and maintained, however are both now going into limp mode multiple times every single journey.
Lights include Oil change, Brake warning, Engine management and servicing.

Lights can be all at once or just the one.
Both are under 75,000 miles.

EGR valve has been mentioned.

Any suggestions as to what this could be would be appreciated! We cant get these booked into ford for another 3/4 weeks.

Thanks.

Hi
I read somewhere that muliple or strange warning lights can be down to a battery in a poor state..

Probably an electrical issue..
dying battery, bad connections, maybe water in some connections in the engine bay, some otherwise damaged cables
