Well as mentioned I'm not getting any recalls from etis but it's recognised my vehicle as being in USA...
Just rang ford dealer and they've checked it and there's a recall for oil dilution, this is the same isn't it?
Anyway it's booked in start of September so let's see.

Hi All,

Ive tried to inspect the belt the timing belt just for piece of mind but I get booked in.

Is there a knack to release the filler tube? It feels like it will screw out the rocker cover but I didnt want to force it.

I ended up using an inspection camera to get some pretty poor images of the back of the belt- it looks ok with the white text intact.

2016 36000 miles with more frequent oil changes than specified by ford.

From memory the oil filler tube twisted out.
On my van I was able to read the text on the belt quite clearly and couldn’t see any delamination.

I have a Ford Transit 2017 mid roof 86k and in May I was driving from the Gold Coast to Brisbane when the oil light came on. The next day I drove it to the garage where it had last been serviced, it wasn’t a Ford garage. I was certain it was something they had done. On the way there all power went in the engine. So I got it towed to the garage, after nearly 2 weeks they came back and said it was an electrical fault, which I knew it wasn’t!
I got it towed to Ford and they wanted to see the service history, and sure enough on the last service, their invoice showed not only the wrong oil but also the wrong amount. To which their reply was that was a mistake and on the workshop sheet it showed they had put in the right oil.
These arguments went on for 3 months, I got Ford to send off for an oil sample, and that disappeared!
I told Ford to put in a new engine and send off for another oil sample, and that I would pay for the engine and I’d take the whole situation to court.
Not long after Ford said they would change the engine under warranty, as at that very time Ford announced a recall for timing belts.
I got my van back today, with a new engine and a new turbo. I’m not sure weather to be happy about it or not, as I bought another car to get me by, I also took time off work, and I’m self employed, and I paid for tow trucks!
But on the flip side I do have a new engine

Hay guys, new to this site, looking for some info before I head to Ford garage tomorrow, have a 2017 transit h2l2 76k serviced every year, broke down this morn driving along and engine stalled, got it recovered back to my home town to a garage I know (not Ford) and they quickly discovered that timing belt had snapped and dreaded to even look at top end, and it was the mechanic that informed me that Ford had issued either a recall or service interval for this particular vans timing belt few months back, mechanic recons it’s covered under the recall but just wanted to ask on here if that’s the case before I transport it to Ford garage in morning. Never had this happen so unsure what to expect.
TIA

I still haven’t had any luck with my van showing up as due for the check on Etis.

It’s an 18’plate facelift, has anyone with a facelift had the recall check yet?

Low mileage!

Probably only had one or two oil changes so far then?

Mines on 30k and had one oil change from what I can make out. Feels so wrong.

The vans had 2 oil changes since I bought it early 2019 and not sure if it had one before that without checking but I doubt it.

Well, I took the van in last week and it passed the mot with flying colours plus had the 72000 mile (or 4 year?) service but failed the timing belt recall so it ended up being in for three days instead one. I had a brand new Custom as a courtesy van so not too much of a problem. I gathered it was approaching a days job for the timing belt but had to wait for the parts to come in. Big relief that it's been done though!
