Anchor/ tie down holes sides and roof

Postby stevedude » Sun Mar 21, 2021 1:15 pm

Hiya, I've tried to find the answer to this for awhile but keep failing.
There is some threaded holes down both sides of the inner rear compartment, and across the support beams in the roof. I'm guessing these are for lighter tie down rings.
Two Ford stealerships don't know and can't come up with any part that goes into it on the body work diagram's.
I'm a courier and a few extra anchor points would be handy :)

Thanks for all and any replies in advance.

Not in a transit but I bought some eye bolts of the correct thread size and placed them in the threaded holes.

There were also some other holes in the body too which had access points nearby. I put a thick wide washer (40mm by 6mm thick) behind the hole with a nylock nut and added more anchor points that way.

I assumed from where they were it was the seatbelt mounts for the passenger version. Just dont pull too hard on them as the panels will move a bit!

Thank you. I never thought it might be seat belt points.
