Just put new alloys & tyres on but the nuts that came with look shite.
I can find black 40mm nuts that'll cover the long studs but they're 14x1.5mm I need 14x2mm don't I?

Scratch that, just had the locking nut off and thankfully has 14x1.5 stamped.
Seen the Tuner type nuts with tool to put em on but unsure if there's enough of the tool inserted to nip them up tight enough.
Any one used them?

I've used those tuner nuts on a previous car, were pretty crap tbh, always thought I was going to round the special tool inside the nut. Maybe I just got cheap ones though.

Have you looked at open ended through nuts? Like below. Doesn't matter on length of thread then.

Did they fit OK? Do you need the extra depth on a mk8 when fitting alloys? I've got a set or order and would like to get matching nuts
