Undoing DPF/SCR delete

Hi,

Just bought an rwd minibus which is an early Euro 6. On closer inspection it appears that someone has cut the dpf and gutted it. It's pretty obvious if you tap it as well as it rings like a bell.
It's not throwing any warning lights so I'm assuming this has been deleted.

Seeing as this will be looked at by the chaps at DVSA a good few times a year I am about to fit a good used DPF.

I'm guessing this will have had the ecu modified so it doesn't error when it detects no back pressure, and more importantly stops it from starting the Regen process.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get it back to factory? Am I best going to Ford and seeing if they can do an update on it? Will that definitely work? Can someone with IDS do this? Or is it something a remapper can do? Or all of the above?
