Key coding on MK* using forscan

Postby stevedunkgrass » Sun May 23, 2021 12:18 pm

Does anyone know if forscan can program a remote key and emobiliser for a 2017 Mk8 transit. I have one remote key working fine and one spare key but it has no remote. At some point it seems some one has broken into the van and damaged the driver lock (only one on the van) and it no longer works with spare key.
Thanks

If the drivers door lock needs replacing anyway, I would take the opportunity to replace it with a higher security item such as a Hykee lock, which will come with its own keys.
I know that you'll still have only one remote, but will have two keys to physically unlock the door, and two (different) to start the van

1997 Mk5 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (Gone, but not forgotten!)

2008 Mk7 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.2 TDCi - Also Vantunered

Hmm, same question from me. Lost one of the two o/e keys and just want a spare. Not too concerned about the remote buttons just need it to start the engine :D
