Hello all,
Since purchasing from a dealer in June 2020, my 2019 Ford Transit 350 (purchased with 18k KM) has had the battery replaced twice, and roughly every two months is requiring a boost. The Ford dealer than we've taken it to multiple times states there is nothing wrong with it after having replaced the battery for the second time.
I am currently waiting on a tow truck for a boost. There is some power, as the instrumentation comes on and I can hear the engine try to turn over, but doesn't actually engage.
The only thing I can think of that might draw power is we had the original dealer install a Compustar FMX 2WG-15R-FM remote start/alarm system. The weather here has been at or above freezing. I drive it at least every other week. I am losing my sanity over this.
Does this vehicle require it be driven multiple times a week to prevent it from having starting issues?
Thank you for reading.
