Aux Battery Replacement

As the aux battery powers the minibus internals such as lights, power step, remote locking etc and not for starting, could this Varta (D3V5A) 75Ah 700A battery be replaced with a 100A deep cycle leisure battery?

I’d say no they need to be identical as they are connected together for starting and changing and if you fit one new battery the old one can kill the new one they need fitting as a pair .
