Dipped Beam Error

Postby Ashley S » Sat Oct 02, 2021 12:10 pm

Hello,
Is there anyway of turning off the Dipped Beam Error on my dashboard.

I have installed LED lights and put on a Resistor but it still says Dipped Beam Error.
Someone said use a Decoder or a Diagnostic Machine?

I can't help with turning it off.

However, it sounds odd.
I'm running all LEDs with no resistors. No errors.

If you fitted cheap chinese leds you may have a slight voltage difference between the pair, this will cause a permanent error. Good quality LEDs are expensive and should always come ballasted so as not to trigger any canbus errors.
