Are we saying Ford made a mistake with this process, given the potential engine damage that could occur?

Would previous failed re-gens not show up under diagnostic interrogation?
If so then pinpointing the cause of the rising oil level would be straight forward.

Given it is unlikely that Ford made such a huge mistake, the other possible causes should also be investigated.

It’s not just a Ford problem it happens on HGFs and PSVs and our other different manufacturers
