Strange Rattle

Hi all,
Latest snag on the long long LONG list..

Got an odd loud rattle down near my right foot, seems to be outside the cabin. Sounds like something touching the exhause heat shield but nothing is!

It appears when the vehicle is at idle either standing still or rolling along at idle, pointing downhill and sometimes (not always) goes away when I apply the footbrake.

Its nothing to do with the caliper or pipes and the master cylinder failed recently so its new.

Pressing the clutch makes no difference but revving the engine a tiny bit does.

Any ideas??
