ko2 245/75/16

Postby nobbynomad » Wed Apr 06, 2022 5:37 pm

Hi folks I've tried the search facility on here but can't find the answer I need. I have BFG KO2's 245/75/16 fitted on my mk 8 and will be heading off into Europe in a few weeks for an, up to five months trip. I've looked everywhere for the tyre pressures for this set up but to no avail. The van itself is weighing off at around 3.4 t fully laden (if that makes any difference) Can anyone point me in the right direction for tyre pressures. Thank you in advance...

Go by the tyre manufacturers ratings.
I've got the Ko2 245/70R16 on my Mk7, they're max is 65psi I run them at 60-65 with the van running at around ,3.5t permanently.

Same all round, keeps it simple but my axle weights are within 20-40kg difference with how it's loaded.
