Flat battery can't get bonnet up

Postby Bennyyy » Thu Jun 16, 2022 10:04 am

Hi all,
I hope somebody can help me. I've let the battery on my 2022 ford transit go flat. I can gain access with the key but can't open the passenger door to access the bonnet catch. So I can't jump/charge the van.

Can you not slide the drivers seat forward, slide out the battery cover, and access the battery from there?

Bonnet opens with the key, I don't understand the problem you have...

As Altransit says battery is under the seat but there are jumpstarting points in the engine bay and you only need the key to open the bonnet on mk8 Transits ¿?
