Gearbox for MK8 2.2 2015 FWD diesel

Hi Guys.

I am looking for a recon gearbox for my MK8 2.2 FWD on a 2015.
Does anyone know if there is only 0ne for this MK8 or is it the same as the MK7..or even various for the MK8??
small difficulty of being oversees but on a exchange recon can do it although more expensive...
Any advise on the fastest way forward....ive been intouch with some transmissions guys in the UK but they want mine back first to rebuilt that same one but I wanted one to be sent over to me first in France then ill get someone to take the old one back.

I have a similar problem with my 4WD gear box. But it seems most of the exchange ones need yours back. My guess is they are not very popular so need to refurbish the one you have.
That's all well and good but it best be fixed properly.
What was wrong with yours? Mine wines something awful but all the gears work fine (hopefully before the big bang)
Not looking forward to the expense.

Sorry Wilks been off the forum a while, Gearbox still to be sorted but not causing me stress (yet) Its a to do thing now before the Norway trip.
