Indicator module

Hi all, I have a indicator module to replace the one on my van (2014) reason for changing is the indicator cancels out and it’s annoying me and other road users. Been sign written van don’t want to give my 16yr old business a bad name.
Now I’ve approached a few independent garages who say its needs programming but I can’t see how it looks to me like its unplug connectors and fit refit connectors. Is this the case or does it need reprogramming?

Yes the body control module needs programmed, as its part of your immobiliser system. The vehicle wont start just plugging in the new one.
