Parking sensors triggered by step

Postby logic » Tue Nov 15, 2022 5:11 pm

Hi folks

I have fitted a set of steps to the rear doors which continually triggers the sensors when reversing. It's the type which bolts behind the tow ball with steps to each side. I've looked at the options using Forscan but I'm not sure if I can just turn off the centre 2 rear sensors leaving the corner ones. I've attached a pic with the current settings. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Can you tilt or rotate the sensors away from the step?

I'll have to look into that, I never considered anything physical just hoping for a software fix. Pouring with rain just now but will look once it stops.

Thanks.

P.s. to correct my post, the step is on the tow bracket below the doors not fitted to the doors....
