2015 Transit Tourneo Custom Fuel Pressure

Hi! Was wondering if anyone could shed light on an issue that is currently doing my head in.

Van has 99k.

As per the video it’s having a hard time starting.

Work done so far..

All new glow plugs and control module

New fuel pump in tank

Fuel regulator

Fuel sensor

Fuel filter

Air filter

Dpf was deleted and coded out before I bought it 5 years ago.

When hooked up to diag machine the fuel pressure bit is saying the desired pressure is 29 (something)… on cranking it moves between 10 and 14… after one or two attempts if it hits above 15 it’ll fire then the fuel pressure matches the desired pressure reading as it moves about.

Once it starts it’s running pretty good.. occasional grumble maybe but nothing really noticeable.

What should I be trying next?

The only thing not changed so far in the fuel path is the high pressure pump.. which I’m ok with doing but wondered if there’s something more obvious first.
Having a hard time attaching the vid... it's only me cranking it for 5 seconds stopping then cranking again and then it fires

could be faulty injector, get a leak back test done to rule that out before doing hp pump

Will assume desired is in PSI and its 29 for the "in tank" pump / sender

Which means at 14 its not enough

i cant find any real figures for this pump.. lots of misinformation with sellers clueless
Note: when i look for the pumps every seller has different pressures .. wonder if its possible you've bought the wrong pump .. which by the looks of the way they are advertised is very easy to get wrong

. and ive searched the manual ,.. nothing, i could find on the pressure .. its very hard to search the manual.

i'm not going to say replace the pump, 'cause i don't have the figures. ... my manual is lacking and missing sections and important details

all this assuming you have a 2.2 .. cause that's what you said in the past... you MUST state this to help us ..

as i have a good manual on the 2.0L ecoblue that may say the pressure

Just updating..
So the 14k is at the fuel rail, post high pressure pump, not the tank pump... its wanting 29k. As soon as it reaches over 15k it'll start.

I've done a leak off test and within 20 seconds injector 2 had filled the bottle while the other 3 hadn't even really started lol.. so looks like 2 is buggered.
Going to change that out and see what happens then.

yup looks that way, pressure is escaping down the leak down on that injector, so reducing the whole pressure needed.
