Rough Idling

Postby killerkilley » Wed May 06, 2026 3:38 pm

Hi, I have a 2.2 tdci rwd and just had to change the turbo so changed the fule and oil filter at the same time. Now when i start it it will run for a few seconds then start missing and smoking like mad. I have checked the fule to each injector and when i take off each pipe the engine cuts out. I have also bleed the fule pump. The engine isnt showing any faults on the odb.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thank you

Think you have to calibrate (LEARN) the turbo actuator with forscan

May be of the self learning type -- i don't know . means the more journeys you make, it will improve .. But also, the items that you disturbed during the turbo change are all suspect .. unless it had other things wrong before the turbo change.
