Turbo actuator replacement / EGR removal query

Hello

I recently acquired a 2020 Transit with the 2.0 diesel engine.

I know the guy I bought it from and he tells me that it has recently had the DPF deleted (but not the EGR valve). And has also had a new turbo.

I know from speaking with other in that area that the EGR is usually removed/blanked along with the DPF if that's being done. Is it bad to leave the EGR functioning if DPF is removed.. my understanding was that the EGR intake was before the DPF (manifold side), so can't see how it would make any odds.

One thing i've not noticed before is the turbo actuator keeps twitching even though the engine is off and bonnet open.

My understanding is that the turbo is new and has VGT.. is there a chance that the turbo is damaged and the twitching is the actuator trying to reset the vanes to zero position.

Or also.. more likely, is it possible that this behaviour is because the actuator / turbo wasn't trained/learned when fitted with diagnostics?

I forgot to mention that there is an engine light on for an underboost condition.

To me it seems linked.. should I try resetting the turbo actuator with FORScan?

Plugging in a scanner preferentially forscan and reading the codes should tell you what's going on.

DPF nothing to do with the EGR .. although a bad EGR can plug up a DPF

Have a feeling deleting the EGR on an ecoblue isn't going to be simple and require expert knowledge, I don't have that knowledge

Some peoples idea of deleting the DPF is smashing its guts out, which could lead to more codes due to the monitoring of it by the PCM

A Twitching actuator as a problem has not come up here.... but google AI says it's at fault

Overboost I think can only be caused by a stuck actuator... there's a gearbox with plastic gears!! these can fail. or stuck actuator vanes.
Or failed Vacuum Solenoid according to AI ( sorry I don't know where it is, or how this works or trust AI that it even has one ) they are listed on ebay .. but no one gives the 7 digit ford part number so i can refer to diagrams to check them out/.

I leave to you to spend some time here - link below ... to find out what is what and where with this solenoid. .. because i cant find it
