Mk8/9 dpf/exhaust filter %

2022 2.0L eco blue 130ps fwd.

So in the vehicle service menu on the clocks it has a exhaust filter % level, i happen to notice it was on 95% (no faults at all),
so took it for a drive and it went down to 20% over 10 - 15 miles, happy days, but then I noticed it goes up and down between 30% and 70% frequently, like over 20 -30 miles range.

Is this normal.?
