Changing wet belt 2.0 to a 2.2 Chain driven tourneo custom

I know how these 2.0 wet belt engines are a ticking time bomb. Has anyone out there changed engines and what sort of cost in the Hexham Newcastle area that specialises in these wet belt changes as not worth me getting kit for doing one vehicle thanks from grollie

To put a 2.2 in it would involve a pile of electronics .. the pcm , wiring etc

and could be Wrong they never made a 2.2 up to euro standard 6 with adblue .. that would be a problem with passing the emissions at the MOT

We do have a 2017 plate 2.2 125 minibus RWD that's euro 6

maybe not so hard then .. i think you still need the PCM and maybe loom

and i think you are going to be coding the injectors

The reason the minibus 2.2 has addblue is it came in early for buses so Ford had to fit it till the 20.l came available
