Transit Custom Paint code???

Can someone help me identify the paint code for my 2017 transit custom. I've just looked at Halfords touch up paints and their codes don't resemble anything on the the plate. All I know is that its blue I have no clue which of the numbers/letters on the plate is supposed to be a paint code, they dont' make it easy!

Paint code is usually under the bonnet, on the slam panel. Should be a code, and the name of the colour

Nope, that would be too easy!!
Actually, I'm not sure if I've marked the right code, I cant find anything as B7, this is mine, 2018 ...

Could be this I guess, does suggest "B" may be the code in the synonyms list. Blazer Blue, dont think its metallic if that helps?

Hmm thanks. The only colour Halfords had in their book was I think Deep Impact Blue so I assumed that this was the only blue Ford currently did, but probbably wrong on this. The colour on the lid of the aerosol does look similar but their code was 7289/J4/G which still means nothing. A look online seems to show this same code for the colour and I've just looked under the bonnet and there is no extra plate there either.

Can't find a colour online corresponding to FT on your plate, and B7 seems to be Zinc Yellow so that can't be right. They could have made this easier!

Put your reg number into this https://www.etis.ford.com/ and it’ll tell you the paint colour.


There must be about 300 blues ford use.
