Low fuel sounding all the time

As above, my brother got low on fuel so got it filled up but the comes are coming on at intervals.
Custom Last mk1 shape
17 plate 2.0 euro 6 ad blue panther I think.

He has looked at chimes etc but can't sus it.
Any ideas guys thanks

It's possible that the float in the tank is sticking

I suggested that to him, I'm thinking there's 2 sensors, he said it has been going on for a while. It won't need resetting will it?

Ad blue level starts to countdown from 12-1400 miles to no start,and chimes repeatedly once this warning starts.

He said the adblu is full, he ran the fuel down to 6 miles left then put more in, he has 156 miles worth in now but the sound still comes

Not to be an arse here but 156 miles of fuel isn’t that much, tell him to put more in and stop being a tight arse,

On my mk6 the van used to hick up when low on fuel, unless you put half a tank in it wouldn’t stop hick up ing, might be the same might not.
