2020/21 bulkead L2H1 DCIV upper bulkhead length

Postby Ijw » Mon Jan 24, 2022 8:40 am

Hi, I’m looking at the 2020/21 DCIV but can only find the length measurement along the floor from the bottom of the bulkhead to the tailgate door closed.
Can anyone please help by measuring the top half length. The bulkhead slopes due to the rear seats. I am wondering what the loss in measurement is I have to fit specific panels into the back.
No new or used dealer near me in scotland for me to visit and measure or any dealer willing to do the donkey work and do the measurement for me via email .
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated

I have a pre-facelift 2018 L2H1 DCIV, I believe it is the same in the back as the 2020/21 version.

The slope is very minor…. Along the floor it’s just over 1.94Mtrs, about 1/3 the way up its just over 1.88Mtrs and just below the roof it’s just over 1.87Mtrs.

Also, there is a guy on ebay who makes a 1000 x 400mm hatch for the DCIV so long loads can fit under the rear seats, with the hatch fitted its possible to get a 3mtr length of material in the L2 van. I posted about the hatch in the thread below.

I hope this helps.

Edit: Just found this, looks like the pre and post face-lift are the same...
Maximum loadspace length: 1944mm
Usable loadspace length at 1.2m height on bulkhead: 1872mm
