Tyre pressure sensor malfunction

Postby Flatfish » Sat Mar 25, 2023 8:13 pm

I've got the above message displayed on a 2 year old custom. Has anyone else had it? I realise it's probably a battery on the sensor, but I don't want to get into replace them every few months if they are all going to go one by one. Interested to hear from anyone with prior experience, thanks

When I had a Fiesta van with tyre sensors they worked perfectly, but my colleagues would throw fault warnings up almost weekly

In the end we disabled the system on his van!

If your van is only 2 years old then it will surely be under warranty?

Thanks for you reply, yes it's could go back to the dealer, but it would cost me more time than sorting it myself. Warranty repairs are horrendous. Half a day to diagnose, a day to repair. You loose 2 days for an hours job! And spend your time driving backwards and forwards as you're always too far from a decent d⁶ealer. Rant over...

In that case, find someone with Forscan and get the system disabled
