Service engine now, Tried all I can anyone help

Hi all, I'm sorry to ask but don't know where to start but need my van. I was a self employed carpenter until June 2022 and had 2 strokes, so appologise for my grammar
I also had to deal with a divorce so money is very tight for me so replacing van is not possible but my only transport on a small island with no public transport. Recently my Ford Transit custom 2.2l, 2014 developed thr service engine now light coming on dash and maybe because it had not been used had several problems that was sorted, heater plugs, 2 hoses on turbo and light still comes on after a few seconds and diagnostic says airflow, changed air flow meter and repaired wiring to meter, had heater plugs rechecked today and still exactly the same and our small garage does not know what's wrong and as he's no idea suggested taking on ferry to a ford dealer to do more thorough diagnostic test but that's money I've not got I'm very sorry to ask on here but it's a last resort Thanks in advance and although I'm only a chippy will try and answer any Qs Regards Nico

Mine was giving a airflow fault that took a while to track down, ended up being a temp sensor for the intercooler that costs £25, after aprox £1200 and various garages they found it !

Hi I live in Scotland. Van is due back in garage to see if its the EGT sensor, same as on another post thanks
