Ford transit custom 2016 2.0 power steering

Hi .
I have a 2016 2.0 ford transit custom . Originally i had a leak on the rack which was replaced with a non genuine part but for that van . The steering was heavy and whining so they fitted another rack which was exactly the same . They then said it must be the pump so that was replaced , still the same but steering okay with a whine at higher revs . Yet again said it must be a dodgy pump so another pump was fitted . It’s really light but as soon as it goes over 2/2500 revs it whines again and becomes lumpy especially to the left . Also replaced the reservoir and feed pipe just in case .
Anyone have any ideas ? No leaks and not loosing fluid

No idea .. unless you have super wide low profile tyres on it

1. something is bent, knuckle hub.

Since everything is driven by the belt, which has influence on it
Things to check

2. drive belt pulleys not in alignment, due to wrong alternator .. wrong belt ..
3. crankshaft damper pulley on its way out .
4 air con compressor clutch
5. alternator clutch
6. belt idler pulleys or tensioner pulleys
7. and there is a problem with power steering pulley busting off the hub on the ecoblue .. some had plastic ones, some had metal .. some three bolts , some with rivets .

or this FILTER (NOTE : there are two types, so not necessarily the one in yours ) i think its in the reservoir filler... blocked?

Chinese parts used .... most are identical from one factory or copied by each china company, along with the faults and mistakes with different brand names on them. Yes, that's what they do !!!

Thanks for the reply.
Its had a new alternator and belt before the steering went wrong . Also another belt with the tensioner kit after the steering was already playing up . looked like the tensioner fell to bits.
Good shout on the crank pulley i have a look at that .

What colour fluid have they used ?
I accidently got the green stuff. Thought 'it will be fine' from reading about others that have used it. It was terrible. Really noisey. Went back to red and all the noises stopped.
