Passenger door won't shut

Hi all, I've a 2014 custom 2.2 , when the passenger door was shut today, it just bounced right back. The latch didn't need flipping with a screwdriver, it just doesn't catch on the bar on the B post.

I've had the card off and think this is what I need, just wanted to check if anyone had this happen and fixed it themselves before I buy , thanks

I had that happen on my drivers side. I got mine to work sgsin and later it then wouldn't lock.
I fitted the mech from an 18 plate. Was very easy to fix.
Try not to loose the thin rubber from the outer handle.

Thanks mate, I ordered up another part from Breakerline , only cost £45 and yeh it was a nice quick fix. I didn't know you could use a part off of a later model !

Hi mate, I seem to have this exact issue on the same model and year. 2014 Custom 2.2 the latch just doesn't seem to do anything. It's open and just bounces back. Do you remember if you needed to take out the latch mechanism and does that require removing the window retainer? Is that mech you linked the thing you replaced it with?
