Hey all,
I'm looking for a member with FORSCAN who has experience with the live data and codes.
I have owned my 2015 2.2 155BHP for around 7 years now. Never had any 'big' issues but seem to constantly be chasing the same one recently. About a year ago the van started to run rough, the idle seemd very low and between 1500 - 2000 RPM the van would hunt. Initially this was just uphill. A while before this the van had a seized EGR and so I replaced it with a 'hella' part. From what I read, these are decent parts and so should have been fine. I would say now that the hunting only started after changing the EGR. After a few months I took the EGR back and swapped for a new one, assuming a fault.
Problem is, I still have the hunting.
Things I've tried so far..
I've changed the EGR (twice)
Changed the MAF - for bosch part
Changed the air temp sensor - lower intercooler pipe
Van has had a clutch and DMF - although after the fault started
Randomly - If I disconnect the EGR the van runs lovely!
I have used a cheap basic code reader on the van, watching the live data the 2 EGR values change whilst the van is idling. I'm 99% this is the issue with the hunting, essentially the EGR is opening and closing all the time randomly rather than under acceleration.
Any help would be appreciated!
