Custom cubby phone holder – no drilling, no vent clips

I’ve been working on a phone holder specifically for the Ford Transit Custom dashboard cubby, so thought I’d share the finished version on here.

Rather than adapting a universal vent or windscreen mount, I CAD designed the base to fit directly into the dashboard cubby. It pushes firmly into place and gives a solid mounting point without glue, screws, drilling or modifying the dashboard.

The arm is adjustable and the magnetic head can be used with the phone in portrait or landscape.

I’ve made two versions:

Magnetic holder – for anyone who just wants a secure phone mount.
Wireless charging version – magnetic mounting with wireless charging.

There’s also a small analogue cab temperature gauge built into the front of the base.

Everything is designed and manufactured in-house by us at Easiprinting.com in the UK.

I’ve attached a couple of photos showing how it sits in the van and with the phone fitted.
