Yes, there is RHD version of this automatic climate control set - check: https://www.fordshop.cz/sada-pro-domont ... kopie.html . It is completely the same solution as for LHD. There is only one change - frame is adapted to the RHD.

Rossi, tomorrow we will install the set into an older car and see if it is possible to install the set (with full functionality) into older cars. We will let you know about tomorrow's results.

Did you get it to work? I have a Sport built 4/2013 and was considering getting this set.

My dealer is installing mine as I type. When you say it was easy to fit, can you be more specific? Did you do it yourself? How many man-hours is my dealer likely to charge me tonight?? :? TIA

Bloody hell, went to collect the van at the dealer's tonight and it wasn't ready. They said it had been a difficult job and they needed an hour or so extra to put all the dash together again. I hope they're not going to present me with a massive bill tomorrow

It took me two hours, I did it myself in the same time I installed my brodit mobile holder charger. The most difficult was to get the upper part of the dash, were the display is in, fitted because the upper temperaturesensor was pushed out because of a part of the inner dash was in the way.

Apparently its only earlier models that need software updates, before you order the kit, message the company and they will check your vin number

OK, thanks. My Sport is a Sept 2013 build, so they had to update the software. I was charged 5.5 hours labour, so the final bill, including the new control unit, came to about £450 + VAT.

It's nice to use, though weirdly it doesn't quite match the look of the rest of the dash...as if it came from another Ford model. I would also have preferred it without the chrome strip across the top, but I can always wrap that in a bit of black vinyl. Not today though, cos it's blowing a gale :?

Incidentally, I don't see why this won't fit RHD vehicles. The manual unit they took out is good for both R & LHD. It's really just the big black plastic trim part that's specific to the UK, because the 12V socket is on the other side.

The only thing that does not seem to match is the black plastic around it
