Tiny01 wrote:Yes agreed that would be a great help , not sure if mine are faulty or not but they don't always seem to work whilst the van is on the move , is there a certain speed that they won't fold in do you know ?

Tran59 wrote:Yes, I've noticed that, but I don't know what the cut-off speed is. I tried folding them in on the motorway once at about 70mph to see if it would cut the drag, but they refused to move

It'd make it dangerous getting out of the van if traffic was passing, a time delay or button on the keyfob would be good though.
i had my mk8jumbo 2 months before I knew they had power fold mirrors, I was sitting in a traffic jam on the m1 and I wondered why there was an arrow on the button, they are great on narrow country lanesTiny01 wrote:Just found this little feature today ( after 2 months lol ! ) whilst wiping the inside of the interior door I caught the power mirror button & the mirrors folded in
Happy days , nice touch & thought I'd share
I think the cut off speed is 30 mphTiny01 wrote:Tran59 wrote:Yes, I've noticed that, but I don't know what the cut-off speed is. I tried folding them in on the motorway once at about 70mph to see if it would cut the drag, but they refused to move
Ah right so mine aren't faulty then , tried various speeds today but still can't see why they work sometimes & not others , I use a few narrow country lanes on my regular journey and like to fold them in , but sometimes they just won't move mate
