Thats funny, I just visited this site and popped in my details (Custom 2015 ) and it said we don't have parts for this vehicle?

I have tried to install HID and LED headlight low beam with absolute dramas! Both types caused my CANBUS to go on overdrive which resulted in tripping the Body Control Unit. This in turn had to be 're-set' by FORD at the obvious ridiculous cost. Any one having the same issue on their Custom?

Sorry to revive an old thread here, wish i'd of read this last month, i'm now without a headlight as it's tripped the system, i've read through the thread but can only work out that i have to go to ford for a reflash :(.
will an auto technician be any cheaper do we think? Also my van got re-mapped recently too. will this wipe my map off?

Cheers

Have you read the thread? If you have then you need to post more details of what you've installed as we can't afford the batteries for our crystal ball.

GOOD NEWS, my local garage managed to reset the BCM with his OBD reader, £20 job no need to pay £100's to Main Stealers.

I have had good luck with these ones, 3 weeks and no Bcm shut off or bulb warnings.
Bulbs im using are Morimoto H7 4300k and it's a blast to drive in the dark!

Following this thread, I got a couple of projector lights and the 5k 35w hids4u set. I find the light very greeny/blueish. I prefer the original yellow colour light. I'd not mind if it was whiter but it's that it's greeny that I'm not keen. Hids4u have been great in responding to my moan, they suggest changing to 50w ballast but I don't want my bcm having trouble. I can reset it. But I'd rather not have to.

Has anyone tried LEDs from them ? I'm wandering if that would be a better colour?
