Dipped or high beam?
The reason I ask as my connect does not have the magnified lense, just the bulbs.
If I was to get HID, not sure, on dipped as I use it the most or high beam?
They can't be used in standard halogen lenses. They need protectors.
To clarify.... this is a ridiculously in depth subject..... VERY briefly though.... a halogen bulb has one hot spot or burn point. HID has in fact 2. It lights at 2 different sites in the "bulb". Therefor the beam pattern is all wrong in a halogen headlight as it literally sprays the light field everywhere. Very good nearfield whiteness but zero light by 10 meters off the bumper where you want it. That's why we are all dazzled by youngsters with hid kits in halogen headlights!
Projectors only. And never in the high beam due to the above reason and slow start up times on the flash.
