To be honest it all got a bit messy with parts, leads and canbus adaptors coming in from various suppliers. You could try these folks https://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/produc ... -35837.htm

However be warned if you have a Euro 6 (panther) the old canbus module doesn't work and you will need to the Ford Ranger (CTSFO018.2) adaptor which works OK so you may need to buy the parts separately unless you can get a kit with the new adaptor. Don't forget if you have a passenger air bag you will need a jewels lamp from Ford.

Does any one know if loosing the parking sensors and steering wheel controls is common, I want to purchase a DD 7" from Ebay but dont know whether to risk it.

The pioneer units seem to work but do thesehttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182257304342? ... EBIDX%3AIT

Hi There.

I am considering upgrading my 66 plate EURO 6 transit custom's head unit.
I am hoping someone could give me a bit of advice before i take the plunge.

I know i need one of these kits.
https://incartec.co.uk/product/fk-9263-3

Q1. Is it possible to change the date and time on the little screen at the top when you have removed the old head unit - If not do you just ignore it ?
Q2. Does the parking sensor display on the the top screen still work ?
Q3. Once you cut the plastic away inside the dash - How much room is there for wiring and connectors etc behind your head units ?
Q4. Do the steering wheel phone buttons still work for you as well as the rest ?
Q5. Are there any other downsides ?

Any information much appreciated
Cheers

Hi

I have a 2013 Ford Transit Custom. I want to replace the standard radio controls with an after market stereo but I want to retain the use of the car parking sensors.

Does anybody know if this can be done?
